Momar is looking for an Installation Technician!

Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturer based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Installation Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Service Team Engineering Manager, the Installation Technician will be responsible for running PVC pipe, mounting PVC boards on walls, and occasionally assisting with maintenance work on cooling towers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Install and run polyvinyl chloride (PVC) piping according to project specifications. Mount PVC boards to walls using appropriate tools and hardware. Occasionally assist with cooling tower maintenance or related tasks. Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized. Follow all safety procedures and company policies during work. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Service Team Engineering Manager.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently High attention to detail and a commitment to quality control Ability to work safely in industrial or mechanical environments Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and instructions

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installation, mechanical trades, industrial maintenance, or a similar field Prior experience working with cooling towers, pipe systems, or related infrastructure is required High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements: Active

Ability to routinely lift and/or move 55 lbs. Ability to move a large amount of weight with the appropriate tools. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to perform job tasks in high places (or roof) and sometimes hot and/or cold working conditions.
