About the Role

Installation Manager

to take full ownership of planning, logistics, and onsite execution of field installations across North America. This is a high-impact leadership role for a systems-oriented builder who brings precision to complexity and thrives on seeing projects through from start to finish.

Work in our Boise, ID headquarters but primarily in the field -- leading multi-day installations alongside our team of 4-6 crew members. You'll own the full lifecycle: pre-install planning, crew preparation, site coordination, quality assurance, and installation sign-off with the client.

You will be expected to

own your seat

, bring leadership and insight to your team, and work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure field installation is predictable, repeatable, and aligned with company goals. As this is a revolutionary industry, we will train on standards and process, and we remain open to suggestions as you learn and grow in the business!

Travel schedule:

typically 3 weeks on one week off, anticipate about 50% travel with slower months during January/February for planning and inventory prepping. Home on weekends, but some Saturdays as needed.

What You'll Own

Installation Planning & Execution

Own the end-to-end planning and execution of 5-A-Side field installations nationwide Manage job schedules, travel and lodging logistics, and pre-install preparations such as packing lists and tool check-out Lead onsite execution: supervising team members, executing build milestones, and completing daily build reports

Process Design & Optimization

Develop and continuously refine SOPs for installation operations Introduce checklists, pre- and post-mortem meetings, and templates to create predictability, reduce error, and increase accountability Identify bottlenecks, root causes, and repeat failure points -- and implement scalable solutions

Field & Team Leadership

Manage a rotating crew of in-house installation team members and on-site local labor; provide clear instruction and leadership Conduct onsite quality checks and ensure alignment with technical specs and brand standards Set the tone on-site with professionalism, safety adherence, and accountability and manage client expectations with a pre-installation walkthrough, daily updates, 50-point wellness inspection, and installation sign-off

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Coordinate closely with Production, Project Management, and Sales to ensure alignment before, during, and after install Support feedback loops to improve field design, shipping preparation, and kit accuracy Represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders during site builds

Ideal Background

5+ years' experience in hands-on construction, sports/event installation, or technical field work 3+ years managing small teams or leading job sites Proven experience interpreting and executing against technical drawings, layouts, and build instructions Familiarity with quality assurance processes, site safety, and installation tools Experience working with synthetic turf installation is a significant plus Experience working within an EOS-run organization is a significant plus Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights up to 18 ft. Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time Authorization to work in the U.S. full-time; must pass background check

What We're Looking For

Precision Builder:

You love taking complex builds and making them clean, structured, and repeatable

Problem Solver:

You thrive on field problem-solving and site-specific improvisation -- but always close the loop with root-cause prevention

Architect Mindset:

You think in systems, diagrams, and checklists. When you identify inefficiencies, you want to design smarter ways to work.

EOS-Minded Leader:

You resonate with the EOS model of owning your seat, measuring performance, and solving issues through clarity and alignment. Haven't heard of EOS? We will bring you up to speed and encourage you to ask about it during the interview process.*

Analytical & Systems-Oriented:

You see problems through data, identify root causes, and develop repeatable solutions that are to be followed every time.

Calm & Assertive Field Leader:

You lead by example: clear, calm, and reliable under pressure. You give clear instructions and expect follow-through, even in physically demanding settings.
