HVAC Install Assistant

Position Summary

Energy Savers is seeking a motivated HVAC Install Assistant to support our installation team with residential heating and cooling system installs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC trade while learning hands-on from experienced technicians. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Assist lead installers with residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related components Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites Help prepare job sites and ensure a clean, safe work environment Follow installation instructions and safety procedures at all times Support basic electrical, refrigerant line, and duct connections under supervision Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Provide courteous, professional interaction with homeowners Perform other duties as assigned to support the install team

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous construction or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to work well as part of a team and follow direction Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
