Job Overview

BreatheWell Home Solutions is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our team. We specialize in mold remediation, pest control, and cleaning services, and our mission is to provide safe, healthy, and comfortable living environments for all of our clients. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing residential properties for mold growth, water intrusion, foundation issues, pest activity, and structural concerns. You will inspect for cracks, faulty seals, water entry points, potential infestations, holes or tunnel systems in yards, and any mold or pest-related issues throughout the property. The role also includes collecting mold samples upon customer request, preparing detailed inspection reports, and communicating findings in a clear, persuasive, and professional manner. The ideal candidate is savvy, fluent in English, highly observant, and able to confidently guide customers through recommended services. A valid driver's license is required, and professionalism is expected at all times.

Duties

Inspect residential properties for mold growth, moisture issues, and signs of water intrusion. Examine foundations for cracks, faulty seals, and structural weaknesses. Identify water entry points and sources of moisture throughout the property. Collect mold samples upon request and follow proper handling procedures. Inspect for pest activity including rodents, insects, and other infestations. Check yards for holes, tunnel systems, and signs of burrowing pests. Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining findings and recommended services. Communicate inspection results to homeowners in a persuasive, knowledgeable, and customer-focused manner. Maintain professionalism and represent BreatheWell Home Solutions with integrity. Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inspection, construction, or environmental services is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify mold, moisture, structural, and pest-related issues. Excellent communication and customer-service skills; able to explain findings clearly and persuasively. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Savvy, confident, and comfortable interacting with homeowners. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete inspections accurately. Basic understanding of home structures, foundations, and environmental health concerns (preferred but not required). Physically capable of inspecting attics, crawl spaces, basements, and outdoor areas. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.17 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
