Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns Provide accurate information regarding availability of in- stock items Obtain accurate information from vendors, relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint Fill requests for catalogues and information Setup and maintain customers files Proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common equipment and software Analytical and structured work ethics Understanding and implementation of mechanical and electrical principles of control loops Teamwork with inside and outside sales, engineering, service and customers Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary

Work experience requirements

:

Minimum of 3 years customer service / administrative experience in manufacturing industry Minimum of 3 years technical sales experience Experience with ERP (SAP) software preferred Computer literate (Windows / Lotus Notes) Strong Word / Excel / PowerPoint for proposal estimate and presentation Self-motivated, ability to work independently Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Oral and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics field, or
- Degree in business administration with technical sales experience,
- Or equivalent combination of education and business/technical work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
