Inside Service and Parts Sales Representative

An Inside Service and Parts Sales Representative promotes and sells the value of Cat parts, Butler Machinery service department services. Inside Service and Parts Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Establishes customer relationships.
• Assists salesmen with customer presentations
• Communicates with Product support Manager to relay parts and service opportunities as well as progress on tasks assigned, etc.
• Markets and sells the value of parts and service.
• Develops good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
• Provides input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
• Works with Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Inside Service and Parts Sales Representative Qualifications:

• Advanced computer skills essential (Word Documents, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)
• Sales experience or aptitude for selling required.
• Ability to think strategically, make decisions, develop relationships, handle conflict, negotiate, present ideas, use resources effectively, and display mechanical aptitude.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to work extra hours with short notice
• Overnight travel as needed
• Service and parts background or knowledge of Service operations preferred.
