A global supplier of industrial chemicals is currently seeking a motivated
Inside Sales Specialist
to support their office in the southern
Arlington Heights, IL
area. The ideal candidate will have established work experience in customer service and logistics operations, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Inside Sales Specialist Responsibilities Include
:
Act as a point of contact for customers regarding order status, supply chain and logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc. via phone and email
Perform accurate data entry, receive and process purchase orders and return authorizations, and update logistics information and sales activity in the company enterprise resource management (ERP) system
Work closely with Operations and Sales departments to ensure orders are processed and demand is forecasted accurately
Assist with product pricing and provide quotations to customers
Interface with other internal departments and external suppliers (both domestic and international) to ensure timely delivery of products
Other duties as assigned
Inside Sales Specialist Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
At least 2 - 3 years' work experience in sales administration, purchasing and inventory control, supply chain management, or inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to be self-sufficient and work independently with minimal direct supervision
Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications
Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.*
