Since 1975, FWM Inc. has been the premier designer, manufacturer, and builder of residential and commercial dock systems, boat lifts, and PWC lifts across the Northeast. We are the leading provider in New England and New York and support large commercial projects nationwide.

Our clients include high-net-worth homeowners, marinas, developers, landscape architects, municipalities, park districts, and industrial operators. Projects range from $5,000 residential installs to multi-million-dollar waterfront developments.

We provide the leads, the best brand reputation in the business, and a top-tier technology stack. You provide the drive, the technical know-how, and the aggressive sales execution to close the deal.



The Role



This is a high-level inside sales position for someone who loves to close. Customers request quotes online every day, and you guide them through the entire process: consult, design, quote, and close.

You'll handle a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial opportunities--including high-value projects that require sharp technical thinking and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.

During peak season (February-July), the pace is intense. The income upside is real.



What You'll Do



Respond to and qualify inbound leads (we generate thousands each year) Consult with customers and design custom dock and lift layouts for their waterfront properties Build detailed proposals for residential, commercial, and industrial projects ranging from $5K to $2M+ Make strategic outbound calls to keep deals moving and opportunities advancing Manage your pipeline in HubSpot CRM and our ERP system Communicate professionally with high-net-worth clients, contractors, municipal engineers, and decision-makers Use your mechanical aptitude to configure the right solutions based on waterfront conditions and structural requirements Conduct occasional site visits to assess properties (vehicle provided when needed) Close deals and exceed targets in a high-volume, high-intent environment

Technically Sharp


You don't need to be an engineer--but you should enjoy figuring things out. Understanding waterfront topography, structural layouts, and mechanical components comes naturally to you. You can look at a waterfront and visualize how the system should be assembled.

Polished & Professional


You're comfortable working with homeowners at million-dollar lake houses, CEOs, park directors, municipal engineers, and contractors. You know how to write a clean, professional email and command respect on the phone.

Organized & Tech-Savvy


Strong experience with CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus), quoting tools, and ERP workflows. You use technology to speed up your workflow, not slow it down.

Hungry & Aggressive


You are competitive, confident, and driven. You don't wait for the phone to ring--you work the leads until they close. This job rewards effort. Peak months are intense, but top performers make serious money.

Proven B2C or B2B sales background (marine, construction, equipment, or technical sales a plus) Comfort selling high-value projects ($25K, $100K, $500K+) Mechanical aptitude or construction/marine environment experience Strong writing and phone communication skills A history of managing complex, multi-stage sales processes Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
