Job Description

IMS Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who will be responsible for communicating with customers over the phone and by email, assisting with product inquiries, and working with other departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

What does an Inside Sales Representative do?

The primary responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is the accurate and timely response to customer quote requests, product inquiries, and general customer support needs.

Responsibilities

Identify which products a customer is looking for Accurately search online for the correct products Send sales quotes to customers Keep accurate logs of quote requests and quotes sent Develop relationships with recurring customers Follow up on quotes sent to encourage customers to complete sales Process orders resulting from quotes sent Answer incoming phone calls from customers Respond to general customer support emails Send required forms to customers or request completed forms on behalf of the sales team

Requirements

Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and scanners Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize work Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic typing and computer skills Experience with macOS computers is a plus, but not required Proficiency with internet browsing and searching (familiarity with eBay, Amazon, and online shopping is a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on achieving performance goals.

Expected hours: 40 per week
