We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to help expand loan volume through consistent outbound borrower outreach and relationship development.
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving loan production through proactive outbound phone outreach to company-generated contacts, prior inquiries, and existing relationships. This role is heavily phone-focused and centers on initiating conversations, identifying borrower needs, qualifying opportunities, and maintaining consistent follow-up until prospects are ready to move forward.
The ideal candidate is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone, enjoys engaging with people, and is motivated by building rapport and progressing conversations. Prior sales experience is helpful but not required; strong communication skills, confidence, and persistence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling & Follow-Up:
Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to company-generated contacts, past inquiries, and existing relationships to identify financing needs and re-engage prospective borrowers.
Lead Qualification:
Ask targeted questions to understand borrower goals, timelines, and deal structure; identify viable opportunities for private money financing.
Inbound Inquiry Management:
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert them into follow-up conversations and ongoing outreach.
CRM & Pipeline Management:
Accurately document calls, follow-ups, notes, and lead status in Salesforce.
Borrower Education:
Clearly and confidently explain Intrust Funding's loan programs, process, and value proposition.
Pre-Screening:
Gather initial deal details and assess feasibility before passing qualified opportunities to loan consultants.
Ongoing Relationship Management:
Maintain consistent contact with prospective borrowers through scheduled follow-ups to increase conversion and deal flow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align outreach efforts with campaigns, lead sources, and company goals.
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in inside sales, outbound calling, lead generation, or customer-facing roles preferred
Comfortable making frequent outbound calls throughout the day
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Confident, professional phone presence
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) preferred
Self-motivated with strong follow-through and time management skills
Organized and able to manage multiple conversations and follow-up timelines
Interest in real estate investing or private lending is a plus
