Job Description

Exceptional is looking for extraordinary Registered Nurses for a 9-bed unit with telemetry capabilities.

Nurse Responsibilities:

Create, follow and update treatment plans for patients. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. Provide nursing advice and emotional support. Be an effective team member or team leader Patient and Family Education Collaborate with physicians, family and patients to provide optimal care Train new nurses.

Nurse Requirements:

At least 2 year of recent experience as an acute care RN. Ability to think and act critically Ability to work 12-hour shifts. Patience with difficult patients. Compassion for all patients and family members Attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self starter and CAN DO attitude a MUST.

Requirements:

License to practice nursing in the state of AZ required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications

required

A minimumof one year of inpatient, PCU, tele, or similar hospital experience Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Shift Schedule:

12 hour shift All shift Weekend availability Holidays
