Inpatient Psychiatric Therapist - Hickory Behavioral at Cambridge

About The Role:

The Social Worker will provide individual and group trauma-informed therapy to a select caseload of male and female patients suffering from a variety of behavioral health disorders. Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Social Worker/Therapist will be responsible for completing assessments, care plan management, patient education, and documentation.

Job Qualifications:

An ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and utilize effective communication skills, including both telephone and in-person. Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients and demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, provide patient-driven customer service, and exercise time management skills. Schedule flexibility, holiday, and weekend rotation are REQUIRED. Must hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

Bachelors OR Masters's Degree and Current Licensure (LCSW, LMSW, LPCC, LISW)

2 years prior experience in Behavioral Health setting with acute psychiatric hospital setting preferred. Not required Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Impeccable ethics, integrity, and outstanding interpersonal and communications skills Completion of CPR and CPI within first 30 days of employment Computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and EMR required. Compensation:

Licensed: $70,000- $75,000


Temporary Licensed: $65,000- $70,000


Master's Level Social Worker: $55,000- $65,000
