The House of Goshen is a 14 bed inpatient hospice facility in Flossmoor that offers inpatient hospice care that surpasses conventional hospice services by delivering continuous medical care and assistance in a cozy and home like environment. Our team of highly qualified professionals are well-equipped to manage intricate medical requirements, and provide specialist treatment that encompasses pain management, symptom control, and mental well-being. Family members can feel assured that their loved ones receive diligent care in a calm and serene setting.

Job Summary:

Available Shifts:

36 hours/week of (3days) 12-hour shifts available (mornings, Includes holiday and weekend rotation.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program

Experience in hospice inpatient unit or similar experience such as ICU

Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois

Maintains a current CPR certification.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and general public

Valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required

Expectations:

Performs physical, psychosocial and spiritual assessments utilizing non-verbal cues and probes or modifications of questions to obtain more comprehensive assessments.

Communicates patient and family's expectations of care, goals, and comprehensive learning needs to all members of the health care team via appropriate documentation.

All documentation is clear, legible, concise, accurate, timely, and meets department standards.

Provides Case Management functions to an assigned case load, as part of the IDG.

Provides clinical services at quality levels consistent with professional standards and codes of conduct.

Knowledge of medication, pain, and symptom management.

Approach patients and families with care, concern and compassion.

Perform referral evaluations and admission assessments of patients for families seeking Hospice services.

General knowledge of Hospice Conditions of Participation and Regulations.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
