Position Summary:

We've partnered with a leading manufacturer located in Mulberry, IN, in their search for a skilled Injection Molding Manager. This role involves overseeing and coordinating the activities of workers responsible for the upkeep and operation of all equipment.

Must Haves:

3-5 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, whether as a manager, supervisor, or team lead.

Job Responsibilities:

Examine work orders to determine estimated labor hours and create machining and production timelines that align with both internal needs and customer deadlines. Determine the necessary in-process inventory and materials needed at the production line based on production schedules, and then request these materials from storage as required. Interpret work orders, blueprints, and detailed specifications, delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members accordingly. Work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee that production targets and delivery promises are consistently achieved. Examine parts and completed products to confirm they meet all engineering specifications and quality benchmarks. Provide guidance and assistance to employees in adjusting machinery and equipment to uphold superior product quality and consistent process capability. Establish, adjust, and standardize operational procedures to fulfill production requirements and boost overall operational efficiency. Develop, suggest, and put into action enhancements to production methodologies, equipment effectiveness, and the overall quality of products. Develop, share, and enforce detailed work instructions to ensure adherence to quality, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines. Keep a close watch on operational controls to guarantee compliance with both company policies and regulatory mandates, and then report on compliance status to department leadership. * Maintain and improve 5S standards within the department, and actively support 5S initiatives throughout the entire facility. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
