Injection Molding Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

We are an

IATF 16949:2016 certified

injection molding manufacturer seeking an experienced

Maintenance Manager

to lead all maintenance activities in a high-volume production environment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance strategy, team leadership, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the maintenance department (supervisors, technicians, contractors) Improve equipment uptime, reliability, and OEE Oversee maintenance of injection molding machines, molds, hot runners, and auxiliary equipment Develop and enforce preventive and predictive maintenance programs Lead root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality system requirements Support internal and external audits related to maintenance Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Tooling Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and critical inventory
Required Qualifications

8+ years of injection molding maintenance experience 3+ years in a maintenance leadership or management role Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and troubleshooting Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with PM programs and CMMS Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications

OEM equipment training (Engel, Arburg, Milacron, Nissei, Husky, etc.) Automation and robotics experience Lean / Continuous Improvement background

Experience working under a Quality Management System (QMS), preferably IATF 16949:2016

ISO 9001 experience is acceptable

Experience supporting audits and corrective actions
