Lucky Dove Home Care

Starting pay:

$18/hour paid weekly

Start date: Immediately

NOTE: This position does not offer any health insurance benefits at this time.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 10 am - 1 pm

Location: Abbeville

Accountable to Lucky Dove's

Director, Administrator, Manager, and Supervisor.

Personal care

Assisting with grooming, bathing, toileting, lifting and transfers, and incontinence issues

Homemaking services

The CAREGIVER will provide dusting, mopping , vacuuming, changing bedding, cleaning the bathroom, laundry, cleaning the kitchen and eating areas, taking out garbage, and cleaning other living spaces as required or requested.

Meals

Serving, assisting with eating, hydration, washing and drying dishes and general cleaning of kitchen or eating area is included.

Medication Reminder

The CAREGIVER will be responsible to give reminders to take medications. A caregiver is not allowed to physically administer medications or perform medication set ups.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST have at least 1 year experience being a caregiver.

- Must have a car with valid driver's license

- Reliable Transportation to and from location

- Applicant must meet, have, or be eligible to obtain all applicable state requirements and trainings.

- Ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and listening skills.

- Compassionate and caring nature.

- Ability to multi task.

- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of care giving.

- Must accept and pass random drug test???????

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
