The

Infusion

Nurse

is a highly trained medical professional providing competent, compassionate nursing care representing the highest standard. This position will administer infusions and be responsible for various office/administrative responsibilities.

uties &

R

esponsibilities:



Provide infusion therapies to patients and monitor their care during infusions. Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, hospital systems, and office staff. Communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally with patients, physicians, vendors, employees, guests, and all others accessing the practice. Administer injections as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications



Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment and will be verified prior to employment. BLS, CPR, & ACLS certifications required and will be verified prior to employment. Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience. Excellent IV therapy skills are required. BLS required. Excellent customer service capabilities are required. Ability to work well under pressure. Critical care, infusion or oncology nursing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:



Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient knowledge of medical terminology. Superior leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in computer software. Strong math and analytical skills.

Travel:



Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.

Job Type:

Full-Time



Pay Range:

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour




Actual compensation offered to candidates is based on work experience, education, skill level, and geographic location. Compensation may vary depending on the state or region in which the position is located, in accordance with applicable laws.
