Job Description

Valenti Auto group is looking for a full time IT support specialist for 3 locations in central CT. This position will be responsible for keeping the day to day operations of the business operating smoothly, securely, and efficiently as well as making necessary improvements to keep technology current and secure.

Job responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues on local machines and on local network Troubleshoot printers and printing issues Maintain local machines Configure local machines - either new machines to be cycled into service or current machines that need to be reverted to factory Manage RMM and keep it maintained and current as well as manage built in web filter. Maintain smooth operation of local network, wifi networks, and VPNs Maintain WAN connections Maintain compliance with FTC Safeguards rules
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Basic networking skills required, familiarity with firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, ISPs, & digital phone systems strongly preferred. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Independent, resourceful, and able to prioritize and manage time effectively Multitasking to handle short term and long term tasks simultaneously Ability to work when problems arise and travel between three locations when necessary.
