As a Full-Time Information Systems Tech at Minden Medical Center, you can expect a dynamic daily routine that keeps you engaged and challenged. To excel as a Full-Time Information Systems Tech at Minden Medical Center, a strong foundation in various technical skills is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including server operating systems and Office Suite, is vital for effective system management and user support. A solid understanding of Active Directory and basic NTFS file permissions will aid in maintaining secure and efficient user access. Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, and DICOM standards is also a key requirement, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize our interconnected healthcare systems.


While an MCSA or A+ Certification is preferred, your practical experience and proactive approach to learning will set you apart. Strong problem-solving skills and an empathetic customer-centric mindset are necessary for addressing user needs effectively. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:


Minimum Education & Experience Microsoft Applications including but not limited to server OS's office active directory. Basic NTFS File permissions; Network protocols; TCP/IP; SMNP and DICOM standards required. MCSA or A+ Certification preferred
