The Opportunity:

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to client\'s mission.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for cybersecurity. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with IA and weapons development support, including DoD IA RMF, DCID 6/3, or ICD 503
  • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences and clients
  • Experience achieving system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization, including ATCs, IATTs, and ATOs
  • Experience performing ISSO duties as outlined in DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems and applications
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of security policies, or evaluating assessment documentation and providing written recommendations for authorization
  • Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community IA and security laws, regulations, and policies, including mandates
  • Knowledge of FISMA, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and POA&M tracking and resolution
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Cybersecurity or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, or 10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity in lieu of a degree
  • IAM Level I Certification
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with intelligence C&A procedures and POA&M tracking and resolution
  • Experience with DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs), checklists, and DoD testing tools, including Gold Disk, Security Readiness Review Scripts (SRRs), SCAP, and the Retina Nessus ACAS scanning tool
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
  • Knowledge of Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
  • Ability to perform in a team environment and take direction from superiors
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in CS or Engineering
  • DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Manager Level 3 Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\xe2\x80\x99s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,400.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\xe2\x80\x99s total compensation package for employees.
