Information Systems Intern

to join the

Pass & Seymour Team

in

Concord, NC

. This intern will gain experience/knowledge with system development and creating business intelligent reporting tools. They will utilize our current ERP system, databases, and other information sources to develop and design dynamic operational reporting tools and dashboards.

What Will You Do?

Capture user requirements and department KPI's Design, develop and implement reporting tools into operational environment Document system design Create instructions and training materials

Qualifications:

Education:

Pursuing BS in Information Systems (Junior/Senior) or pursuing BS in Computer Science. (Junior/Senior)

Experience:

Related course work.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Power BI development and design. Ability to use ODBC and SQL to connect applications (Access, Excel, and Power BI). MS Office Suite experience. Ability to document system design and create dataflow diagrams. Ability to use SharePoint, TEAMS, Power Automate or develop websites is requested, but not required. Business and/or Operations knowledge is a huge plus, but not required. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently summarize information in an effective manner. Requires good people and communication skills.
