Job Description

The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a motivated individual who is a talented self-starter and excellent communicator to work with prodcurement data management and processes with DTS customer agencies and day to day functions. The chosen candidate for this job must have the ability to understand technical solutions and communicate effectively with agency personnel. Must also be able to work through complex processes to determine solutions. While not required, it is important that someone in this position understands and has work experience with produrement data management. Please note that this job does not include any development/coding.


This position is currently a hybrid of both in-office and telework days (two days a week, in office required at the Taylorsville State Office Building (4315 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT). Please note, a position's eligibility for telework is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion at any time and for any reason.

Responsibilities

Assist in the project management of procurement data management effort as DTS implements the system in our ServiceNow environment as well as coordinate ongoing efforts Strong written and oral communication skills Order management to help the team keep up with production Develop logs and / or reports & look for efficiencies or areas for continuous improvements Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items Understanding current processes and systems and how to use available technical systems to come up with creative solutions Understand day-to-day processes to assist DTS Procurement coordinators as needed

Ability to communicate professionally to C-Level employees Customer service oriented Self-motivated and ability to work independently Strong organization skills Ability to use analytical data to creatively promote initiatives Experience with management of enterprise software such as Adobe and Microsoft preferred
