Alaris Health at Hamilton Park - Jersey City, is a 200+ bed-skilled nursing center in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks an Infectious Disease Preventionist to help with Infectious Disease prevention and fulfill other responsibilities.

Position Summary:

The Infectious Disease Preventionist is an RN, with a BSN preferred, that performs all nursing functions related to Infectious Disease prevention. These include but are not limited to surveillance, data collection, assessment, teaching and policy development.

Job Skills:

Excellent interpersonal sills Highly developed written and verbal communication skills Knowlege of all governmental regulations relating to long term are standards Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test Interacts with residents, families, visitors and employees * Carries out other tasks as requested in situation where hands-on intervention/participation may be required
