dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher
who will help guide, inspire, and support both children and fellow teachers through faith, love, and learning.The Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for developing a
cohesive teaching team

classroom curriculum
, and managing the
day-to-day operational activities
of the classroom. This teacher will create a
safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment

Duties
Coordinate and implement an educational curriculum grounded in
developmentally appropriate practices
and
early learning standards
Lead by example;
encourage teaching team success
through modeling and coaching
Plan and implement
individual and group activities
that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth
Maintain
frequent communication with parents
, including daily updates, progress reports, and conferences
Ensure all
center policies and state regulations
are met
Maintain a
healthy, safe, and clean classroom environment
Supervise and guide
teacher assistants and classroom volunteers
to uphold curriculum goals and safety standards
Keep
accurate child records, forms, and documentation
Commit to
ongoing professional development
and continuous improvement
Requirements
Completion of
45 DCF training hours
(required)
CPR and First Aid certification
(required)
Demonstrated
personal relationship with Jesus Christ
,
godly character
, and a
servant heart
Knowledge of
children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
Nice To Haves
Minimum of two years of professional child care experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
