As an Infant /Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. You'll build meaningful relationships with infants and their families while supporting key milestones through engaging care and learning activities.
Qualifications -Requirements (Experience is a Must):
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants (ages 6 weeks to 18 months) in a licensed childcare center or daycare setting
High school diploma or GED required
CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred or working toward one
CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Knowledge of infant development, health & safety practices, and licensing regulations
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
Must be able to lift 40 lbs and actively participate in daily infant care
Key Responsibilities:
Provide loving, responsive care that supports emotional and developmental growth
Plan and implement age-appropriate sensory and motor activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
Observe, document, and communicate daily routines and milestones with parents
Ensure compliance with all state licensing and health/safety guidelines
Collaborate with co-teachers and administrators to maintain a high-quality program
