Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our Child Care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with babies and toddlers. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging schedules that promote early childhood development and learning. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all infants. Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth transitions and maintain focus on learning objectives. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning experiences. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.

Skills

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment. Ability to educate children in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate. Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with childhood development milestones and appropriate teaching strategies. Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver for young children is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
