We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and social interaction among students.
Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Maintain effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with Infant-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus; experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
