Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children aged from infants to toddlers. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with parents and staff to ensure each child's needs are met while promoting a love for learning through play-based activities.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language, and motor skills. Provide individualized care and attention to children, including those with special needs or requiring additional support. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Skills in caregiving, first aid, toddler care, infant care, special education, and classroom management are essential. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
