Lakeshore Little People's Place

, a multi-site Christian licensed child care center, is seeking a Lead Infant Room Teacher at our Providence location (south side of Holland). LLPP has been providing high-quality early care and education for 28 years in the Holland/Hamilton area and we seek to find people who:

have a love for children and the Lord desire to be part of something impactful in the community want to make meaningful connections with co-workers are dedicated to working with children and families understand the ministry of faith-based education and the importance of early learning experiences

Our Infant Lead position

is one that requires a balance between being able to safely supervise, manage, and lead a classroom and being able to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE little ones!

The ideal applicant will:

Be at least 19 years of age and have strong references Complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting (employer paid) Have a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or higher, be in the process of obtaining a CDA, or be willing to work towards obtaining a CDA (and we can help you find a class either in-person or online) Promote a Christian, nurturing environment Be dedicated to a high quality, educational environment Build positive relationships with other LLPP employees, children and parents Lead the classroom, including caring for and supervising infants and planning, documenting and implementing daily schedules and lesson plans for babies 6 weeks to 9 months of age Have availability Monday - Friday.

This position

is offered as FULL-TIME employment, and the applicant must be available Monday - Friday. We're looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working with young children and enjoy collaboration with co-workers. Previous experience in a licensed childcare is preferred, but not required. Training, side-by-side coaching when needed, orientation and onboarding, and classroom connections are provided to ensure you feel equipped, professional, and excited about the work ahead with Lakeshore Little People's Place.

Pay is dependent on your education level and years of experience in a child care center.
