We are looking for a passionate and innovative Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologist to join Wellstar's growing Office of Clinician Well-Being (OCW). The I/O Psychologist will serve as a strategic partner within the OCW by applying psychological science to improve clinician experience, leadership development processes, and organizational culture across Wellstar Health System. (S)He should be strongly anchored in the "True North" of the OCW enabling purposeful contributions of Wellstar clinicians. This non-clinical role will focus on enhancing workflow efficiency, supporting team dynamics, and fostering a culture of well-being and resilience among physicians, APPs, nurses, and residents.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

1. Facilitating Teamwork Initiatives for Clinicians Design and implement evidence-based interventions to enhance clinical team functioning and collaboration across clinical specialties and disciplines. Develop and evaluate programs that promote effective teaming, psychological safety, and cross-functional engagement for clinicians. Support the development of tools and resources that empower clinical leaders to build inclusive, high-performing teams. 2. Leading Initiatives that Support a Culture of Well-Being Lead quality improvement (QI) initiatives that aim to scientize the field of clinician well-being and deliver high-impact, sustainable outcomes. Conduct needs assessments, focus groups, and surveys to identify barriers to clinician well-being and recommend actionable, data-informed solutions. Use data analytics to assess the impact of well-being initiatives and provide insights that inform strategic planning and cultural transformation. Partner with Human Resources, Organizational Development, and other departments to align well-being strategies with system-wide goals. 3. Leading Initiatives that Promote Effective Leadership Collaborate with OCW leadership and system partners to embed psychological science into leadership development, change management, and organizational strategy. Serve as a subject matter expert on organizational behavior, motivation, and resilience to support leadership effectiveness and cultural alignment. Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development programs that foster inclusive, adaptive, and well-being-centered leadership practices. 4. Partnering on Efficiency Initiatives Collaborate with the Lean Transformation Team, IT, and other operational partners to integrate well-being principles into workflow redesign and performance improvement efforts. Apply psychological principles to streamline processes, reduce burnout drivers, and enhance clinician experience through systems-level interventions. 5. Leading Clinician Support Initiatives Reviews Comprehensive Well-Being Panels to support interventions for individual clinicians, as well as teams. Helps to develop care pathways to support Wellstar clinicians in preventing occupational burnout and/or intervening to manage/mitigate occupational burnout. Supports OCW clinician retreats, including data interpretation, 1:1 feedback, and post-retreat follow-up, as needed. Leads or assists in leading initiatives that fall under the AMAs Joy in Medicine Support pillar (e.g., coaching, in-basket cross coverage, removing stigmatizing credentialing language). Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 3 years Experience applying I/O psychology in healthcare or complex organizational settings. Required Minimum 3 years Demonstrated expertise in organizational assessment, teamwork within healthcare, leadership development, and change management. Required Minimum Skills:

Strong analytical skills and experience with survey design, data interpretation, and program evaluation. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, culture, and the unique challenges faced by healthcare workers. Expertise in psychometric assessments, data collection, and analysis tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, from frontline healthcare staff to senior executives. Knowledge of professional legal and ethical standards concerning healthcare workforces and patient care environments. Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Deep knowledge of I/O psychology, organizational behavior, and change management. Strong facilitation, coaching, and consulting skills Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and influence at all levels of the organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
