Set up and operate industrial sewing machines according to production specifications.
Guide materials accurately under the needle to ensure consistent seams and quality stitching.
Perform in-process and final quality control checks on finished goods.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and production standards.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining product quality and consistency.
Required skills and experience:
Proven experience operating industrial-grade sewing machines to cut and sew marine-grade canvas and upholstery vinyl.
Familiarity with a variety of sewing materials, techniques, and equipment.
Experience in sewing marine covers and working with zippers preferred.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and production samples accurately.
Schedule:
8-hour shift
-Day shift 6 am - 2:30 pm
Monday to Friday
