Position Overview
As the Industrial Sand Plant Foreperson, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our sand plant construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will manage personnel, scheduling, maintenance, and customer relationships, serving as a key liaison between teams on site and our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
Champion safety by enforcing policies and cultivating a culture of safe work practices across all operations.
Lead, motivate, and support your crew to achieve project goals while exceeding customer expectations.
Develop competitive project bids and proposals, maintaining positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Oversee project schedules, manage scope changes, and proactively address material or resource variances.
Evaluate work quality to ensure it meets client and company standards, minimizing rework and maximizing satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with teams regarding daily objectives and project updates.
Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Contribute to a positive team environment and be ready to take on other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Proven knowledge of plant maintenance, materials, and operational tools.
Strong analytical and communication skills - ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations with accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.
Natural team player, equally effective working independently or collaboratively.
Technical proficiency with equipment and a commitment to safe, proper usage of tools.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
Previous internship or training experience in construction or production preferred.
A minimum of two years' relevant experience is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
Strict adherence to company safety protocols, regulatory requirements (OSHA/MSHA), and PPE guidelines (including face shield, safety shoes, and coveralls).
Flexibility to travel, work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
Ability to work in a range of environments--including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
