We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying coatings and paints to various industrial components and structures, ensuring quality finishes that meet safety and durability standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with a range of tools and equipment used in industrial painting and fabrication processes.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
Operate airless paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply coatings
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and coverage
Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, or other materials handling equipment
Perform basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, or welding to prepare surfaces for painting
Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols and proper disposal of waste materials
Support assembly and installation processes involving painted components
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Skills
Proven experience with industrial painting techniques, including airless paint spraying
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse or construction equipment safely
Familiarity with materials handling procedures in manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working with paints, chemicals, and heavy machinery
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during application processes
Experience with lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency
Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for quality control in finishing processes
Warehouse experience is a plus for material organization and inventory management
