Their facility is clean, neat and updated and they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain the machines on the shop floor.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics and maintenance, with experience in a manufacturing facility. This role involves working with various systems and equipment, mostly standard types of equipment. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment while adhering to safety standards to ensure a smooth operation on the plant floor.

Duties

Maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficient production processes. Troubleshoot and repair issues including air and hydraulic cylinders. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and work orders. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment accuracy. Conduct welding tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Read and interpret schematics for electrical and mechanical systems to facilitate repairs and maintenance. Collaborate with the Production Manager on daily tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety regulations. Willingness to to help as needed in other areas.

Requirements

Proven experience in an industrial mechanic or maintenance role within a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on hydraulic machines , compressors, vacuum pumps, etc. Maintain Hi-Lo equipment. Collaborative team player. Self-starter - look for ways to be productive when all maintenance tasks are completed. Proficient in using analysis skills to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to read schematics and perform maintenance tasks on various machinery. Proficiency in electrical wiring, welding, and programming.. Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance and regular maintenance of all equipment. Maintain a very clean environment.

Background

Proven experience in machine repair and preventative maintenance. Proficiency in welding, wiring and programming. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities. Team player.
This position is on-site as follows:

4 days (Monday - Thursday) 10 hour shifts Hours 5am-3:30pm Monday OT occasionally as needed
We have a full benefit package including paid holidays, PTO, healthcare, 401K. Starting salary in the $25-$35/hour based on experience.
