Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. This position is for a overnight shift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities, contributing to overall production efficiency and safety.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and hydraulic machinery.

Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders effectively. Conduct inspections and diagnostics using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure equipment functionality. Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer service needs. Maintain compliance with safety regulations while operating scissor lifts and other machinery in high voltage environments. Analyze schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions. Provide field service support as required, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience as an industrial mechanic or electrician in a manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and electrical maintenance practices. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software for efficient maintenance management. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and technical expertise relevant to the role.
