Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Industrial Maintenance Technician position is to maintain, repair, or replace all manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities will also include conducting daily inspections of all equipment. The supervisor will meet with the mechanic daily to review the list of work orders that need to be completed.

Essential Duties:

Improve plant operations by maintaining production equipment by repairing or replacing the equipment as directed Maintain organization of supplies, tools, and parts for the maintenance department Complete a monthly preventive maintenance inspection

Experience Required:

5+ years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician required. Bulk food and/or Beverage industry experience is a plus.
Familiar with changing and replacing 480V motors. Experience working on manufacturing/industrial type equipment (mills, blenders, mixers, fans, etc. ) Ability to change belts and shivs. Experience with welding and fabricating required. Forklift and Scissor lift experience. Hand and power tool experience. Knowledge of CMMS maintenance system and GMP's is a plus. Fork truck/lift repair experience needed. Doing PM/trouble shooting issues on fork trucks; i.e. checking functional operations such as hydraulic systems, checking batteries, lighting, safety- lifting ,

Requirements:

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.

Will need to provide basic hand tools. Steel toed shoes required.

Shift:

1st shift; 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm (flexible)
