Responsibilities



Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty components in machinery, including motors, drives, sensors, valves, and control panels. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement control system repairs or adjustments. Maintain accurate maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance history. Conduct HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) system maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to facilitate precise repairs. Support field service activities by troubleshooting on-site issues at various locations or customer sites when needed. Assist with welding tasks using welding techniques to repair metal structures or machinery components. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety protocols in accordance with industry standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding maintenance needs or technical support.

Requirements



Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong electrical knowledge with experience in industrial electrician work, including low voltage and high voltage systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting control systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management and record keeping. Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately for effective repairs. Industrial electrician experience is highly desirable along with analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues efficiently. Valid field service certification or military background related to industrial maintenance is a plus. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety regulations. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.26 - $35.23 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
