As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic supporting a leading food manufacturer (direct-hire), you'll own the uptime of state-of-the-art equipment while working with a tight-knit team committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Location: Bartlett, IL
Employer partner: Leading food manufacturing company (direct-hire through TekPro Engineering)
Choose your schedule

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

A day in your role

• Diagnose and repair production and packaging machinery to minimize downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance and keep detailed CMMS records.
• Work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot controls, including PLC-driven equipment.
• Support installs, line upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Champion safety, GMP, and food quality standards every step of the way.

What you bring

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• Hands-on skills in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC basics.
• Comfort reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
• Clear communication, team-first mindset, and calm under pressure.
• Flexibility for overtime or weekend coverage when needed.

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

• CMMS for work orders and maintenance documentation
