WHO WE NEED
We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist Technicianin the Environmental Group at our Endwell, NY office. This is a full-time, entry-level position. The following are preferred but not mandatory requirements for this role: EPA, OSHA, and NYS DOL Training & Certifications (NYS Certified Asbestos Project Monitor/Inspector), an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, basic computer skills, and up to 3 years of relevant experience. The primary duties associated with this position include:
Responsible for site investigations and environmental sampling.
On-site asbestos project monitoring oversight, asbestos air sampling, and asbestos surveys.
Technical report development associated with building renovations/demolitions, hazardous material remediation, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and health & safety projects.
Specific areas will encompass asbestos, lead paint, mold, radon, PCB's, hazardous waste, and building renovations/demolitions.
Additional Job Information:
Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
Candidate will be required to provide their own transportation to job sites. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with IRS guidelines.
Candidate must be able to work in inclement weather as needed and have the ability to work in all terrains.

WHAT WE OFFER
Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
