Job Description

Capone Iron North Woods is seeking a qualified Maintenance Assistant.

Ideal candidate will have 1-3 or more years maintenance background

Adaptive personality, able to pick up on things quickly Experienced in trades and understands how things generally work and function mechanically Self-Starter; ability to stay busy in between jobs, cleaning is not beneath them. Ability to safely operate shop equipment such as saws, hand tools, etc. Ability to safely and correctly operate yard vehicles such as forklifts, Combi-Lift, Skid Steers, etc a plus. Good communication skills, able to work with others in a fast-paced production focused environment Quality and safety minded Reliability and a strong work ethic a must

Education, Training, Experience

):

High school or equivalent trade school education State issued driver's license in good standing, CDL License preferable, not required

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Able to spend prolonged periods of time working on feet Able to use hand tools and perform repetitive actions that include frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and reaching Possess manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and use maintenance related tools Able to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds Work Environment: Enclosed and well-ventilated environment with often extreme heat or cold conditions. Frequently works outside in extreme hot or cold temperature conditions.
