Summary

"We are seeking an Automation Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated equipment, as well as ensuring validated states are preserved through application backup and restore.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated equipment (PLCs, motion control, HMIs, RFIDs, robots, and vision systems). Perform repair and replacement of computers connected to manufacturing equipment. Execute application backup/restore to maintain validated system state. Support integration and configuration of automation technologies. Document activities per quality and regulatory standards. Provide flexibility to support business demands (overtime, holidays, weekends, or night shifts when required).

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automation Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Fanuc robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with mechanical systems and instrumentation. Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively. Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $20.00 - $34.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
