Indoor Playground Staff / Host - San Ramon, CA

Looking for a fun job working around kids? Kidplex is the newest indoor playground in San Ramon, CA. Join our team as an Indoor Playground Staff / Host. We are looking for people with a positive and welcoming demeanor who are helpful, friendly, creative, organized, dependable, and a team player.

You will be responsible for creating extraordinary family experiences at Kidplex by greeting parents and children, answering questions, cashiering, party hosting, and maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment.

Kidplex is not a daycare. Parents are required to supervise their own children. We are offering part-time positions. Bonuses, promotion opportunities, and additional hours available after 2 months.

Work Location: In person (San Ramon, CA)

Schedule:

Weekday shift available (Monday - Friday, 9:45am - 5:30pm) Weekend shift available (Saturday - Sunday, 9:30am - 6:00pm) Full day & partial day shifts available. Recurring or rotating schedules available.

Compensation & Benefits

Earn up to $25/hr on weekends with bonus pay Base pay: $18-$20/hr Bonus eligibility begins after 2-month probationary period Promotion opportunities to Shift Lead and Assistant Manager Health and dental benefits available for full-time positions after 2 months

Qualifications

High school diploma or working student Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with kids or in customer service is preferred Teaching background or interest is a plus First aid and CPR certification is a plus Background check required 1 reference required

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service, attentiveness, and engagement with parents and children to ensure the best guest experience. Clean and organize the play areas, party room, and restrooms. Monitor the play area to ensure children are playing safely. Manage check-in process. Ensure all guests sign a waiver. Use a PC computer for cashiering of services and retail purchases. Assist in the set up and hosting of birthday parties and private events. This includes decorating, serving food/drinks/desserts, and clean-up. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the management team. Cooperate with other staff and work as a team member. Growth opportunity for promotion to Shift Lead and Assistant Manager.
