What You'll Do




As the

Independent Living Program Coordinator

, you will lead the Empowered Living program and oversee the transition of survivors from residential care to independent living. This leadership role blends direct service, program management, and community partnership building, all with the goal of equipping survivors to thrive on their own.


You will:

Oversee and facilitate education and life-skills training for survivors, including healthy relationships, financial literacy, and recovery maintenance. Develop, implement, and update programming and manuals for the Empowered Living Independent Living Program. Collaborate with Residential Advocates to ensure smooth and successful transitions for survivors reentering the community. Build partnerships and coordinate employment and mentorship opportunities for survivors. Maintain communication between survivors and mentors/employers to ensure positive outcomes. Accurately document services and survivor progress in the database and complete all reporting requirements. Provide transportation to appointments, classes, employment, and community resources as needed. Lead with compassion and integrity while modeling Selah Freedom's values. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring



Bachelor's degree

in Social Work, Criminology, or other behavioral science, experience will be considered in lieu of education. Experience in trauma-informed environments, substance abuse treatment, or post-traumatic stress programs. Proven leadership or supervisory experience in social services or program coordination. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with survivors of sex trafficking (preferred). Ability to work cross-culturally and collaboratively. Clean driving record and ability to travel locally.

ScheduleWork Environment



Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work weekends, overnight, and holiday shifts as needed. Moderate travel required. * Work environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise.
