Overview

We welcome drivers from all areas of Phoenix, such as Surprise, Buckeye, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and surrounding cities. Our warehouse is located at AZ 85338. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in service.

You will be working as an independent contractor. We offer very competitive pay and will provide you with a 1099 form for your annual tax filing, and your driving mileage may be deductible on your tax return with the IRS.

English is a must.

Work Requirement

Owning a car in qualified, reliable driving condition is required. You will use your own vehicle for deliveries, so please ensure it is well-maintained and suitable for daily work. Frequent mechanical issues or breakdowns will affect performance and may not be acceptable for this role. You must also be able to cover your fuel costs without financial difficulty, as consistent daily work is expected. Availability on weekends and holidays is required, as these are our peak delivery days.

Daily Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations. Scan and sort the goods. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo during transit. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.

Job Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving items as required. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
