Position Overview

We are seeking a

dedicated and safety-minded Independent Contractor Medical Courier

based in

Williston, ND

, to handle early-morning deliveries of

life-saving pharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine materials, blood products, and related medical shipments.

This is a

consistent route

that starts and ends in

Williston

, beginning around

4:00 AM

and typically finishing by

8:30-9:00 AM

.
The route runs

Tuesday through Friday

, with occasional Monday coverage.

Weekends are always off.

Responsibilities

Pick up, transport, and deliver sensitive medical materials with absolute accuracy and professionalism. Maintain strict

chain of custody

and compliance with all

HIPAA

and

DOT/TSA

standards. Ensure timely and secure delivery to healthcare facilities, labs, and pharmacies. Follow all safety and contamination-control procedures for

bloodborne pathogens

and

radioactive materials

. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout route completion.

Requirements

Must be

18 years or older

with a

valid driver's license

and clean driving record. Must own or lease a

reliable vehicle (car or small SUV recommended)

capable of long-distance early-morning travel. Smartphone with GPS and ability to use delivery apps. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally. Must pass required

background screenings

TSA security threat assessment

Must obtain or be willing to obtain:

Radiopharmaceutical Driver Training

HIPAA Certification

Bloodborne Pathogen Training

(Meadowlark will assist with obtaining these trainings.)
