We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional
In-Home Caregiver
to provide non-medical support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. The caregiver will work in the client's home and help ensure their safety, comfort, and quality of life. This position requires empathy, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary needs and preferences.
Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishes, and tidying up.
Remind clients to take medications as prescribed (no administration of medication unless certified).
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
Monitor client's condition and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or family members promptly.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and company leadership.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is strongly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with clients, families, and supervisors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, valid car insurance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Background check and reference verification required.
Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred
Dementia and/or Alzheimer experience a must
Working Conditions
Work is performed in the client's home environment.
May involve exposure to pets or varying home conditions.
Flexibility in schedule is required, including occasional evenings, and occasional weekends
