Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide quality care and support to clients in their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will have experience in various healthcare settings, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and post-acute care. Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages Monitor and report on clients' health status and any changes in condition Administer medication reminders as prescribed and follow care plans accurately Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation as needed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and client progress Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures

Skills

Previous experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or geriatrics is highly desirable Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers, PICU, or teaching hospitals is a plus Knowledge of medical-surgical, outpatient, inpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care environments enhances effectiveness Strong communication skills and compassionate nature Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently Familiarity with post-acute care and outpatient services is beneficial Certification in CPR or first aid is preferred but not required Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
