We are seeking a compassionate and dependable

Caregiver

to provide in-home support for a female client living in the Nuuanu area. The client has

dementia

and needs gentle, patient care from someone with experience and understanding.

Because the home is

not accessible by bus

, candidates must have

reliable transportation

.

Responsibilities

Provide

personal care assistance

(showering, toileting, dressing, grooming) Offer

companionship

and engage the client in meaningful conversation and activities Assist with

light housekeeping, meal prep, and home helper services

Monitor and support the client's safety and comfort Maintain respectful and professional communication with family and office team
Schedule & Hours

Approximately

20 hours per week

Ideally

Sunday through Thursday

(flexible for the right person) Opportunity to

pick up additional shifts/clients

for full-time hours
Requirements

Experience caring for clients with dementia

Reliable transportation

(home not bus accessible) Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check Must be able to pass a 2-Step Tuberculosis test or Chest X-Ray
