Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a CNA license, a strong background in various medical settings, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and inpatient care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients, allowing them to maintain their independence while receiving the necessary assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred, particularly in settings such as hospitals or clinics. Knowledge of care practices related to hospital medicine, emergency medicine, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and OR (Operating Room) is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to work independently while being part of a larger healthcare team. Must be reliable, patient, and empathetic towards client needs. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
