We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide quality care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care. The caregiver will assist clients with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. Experience in diverse healthcare environments including Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, PICU, OR, outpatient clinics, and teaching hospitals is highly valued. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in health status to healthcare professionals
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed under supervision
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Help with light housekeeping tasks related to client care
Support clients during meal preparation and feeding if necessary
Ensure a safe environment by preventing falls or accidents
Coordinate with healthcare teams for ongoing care plans and follow-up appointments
Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and client progress
Skills
Prior experience in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers preferred
Background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings such as Geriatrics or Medical-surgical units is advantageous
Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care environments
Familiarity with PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) or OR (Operating Room) settings is a plus
Knowledge of teaching hospital protocols and outpatient care procedures beneficial
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families
Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and prioritize client needs effectively
